Scrap quilts are some of my favorites and making this scrappy 30's quilt had me thinking of my Grandmother and her quilting legacy. The pattern allows you to choose from throw (68" x 79"), double (80" x 93"), or king (105" x 105") sizes and uses fat quarter in the fabric requirements for the butterflies, pieced chain blocks, prairie points, and binding. The applique may be done by hand, by machine, or using a blanket stitch as in the sample. It also looks great done in Batiks or Kaffe Fassett fabrics. Please add to the comments section at check out which pattern cover you would like to receive (30's, Batiks, or Kaffe Fassett).
